Tokyo 2010: Disneyland at night

Was glad we returned to Disneyland for the night parade. I don't know if it's the same in other Disneys, but this parade was really pretty. There were so many people though and it was drizzling the entire time. The boys enjoyed the show though and we went for more rides, including a small coaster, before calling it a day.

Thanks for sharing your Japan trip, Lilian.

I was in LA Disneyland some 10years back, and there was this Fairies nite parade, it was so wonderful and amazing!!! They turned off all the lights in Disneyland, it was pitch dark, then the lighted up cart came strolling by, with many 'fairies' on them. The make up of the fairies was really good, I felt that I was in Fairies land!!!

You're welcome Chris, have a wonderful holiday. You're leaving soon right? Remember to chope good viewing seats for the night parades, the Japanese folks are super kiasu!

Yup, leaving soon. Which is the best viewing seats? With my husband around (in Disneysea), very difficult to be kiasu. But the 1st 2 days without him in Disneyland, I can be super kiasu!!! kekekeke....

Any more tips for Disneyland?

haha, I have no tips lah, I didn't chope seats at all, but saw so many people having mats and finding their places long before the parade started. My only Disneyland tip is...er...don't go? hahaha, just kidding. Have a great time. Go with the flow and don't stress.

You are scaring me with the 'Dun go'....but too late liao, no turning back.

No stress, where got stress... I will go there early, and once the door is opened, I will CHEONG huh!!! Hahaahaa

hahaha...how much can you CHEONG? There will be hundreds of other CHEONGers. So strategise properly, get the FASTPASS for the most popular ride you really really want to go on.

haha, you're most welcome. Aren't you already staying in one of the hotels in Disneyland? Isn't it troublesome to move just for one night? Make sure you get the room facing Disneyland ok? Enjoyyyyy, I'm soooo envious!!

And I'm glad I managed to upload all the Tokyo pictures BEFORE you left, thanks for giving me that push! These posts are half a year overdue :P

Lilian, I really appreciate your effort in uploading these posts. Thank you! *kiss* *kiss*

Talking about the hotel, my hb almost wanted to 'kill' me ;-P. Our 1st 3 nites will be in Hotel New Otani *near my hb's office*. There after, I reserved 3 different hotels for 3 different nites. I wanted to try these 3 hotels and I only have 3 nites. He found out and stop me just 2 days back, so I changed to just 2 hotels and since your post came in just in time, I made that my last nite accomodation, so that I can take the Airport bus to the airport the next day.

Will send in the request but not sure if the hotel can put me in the room facing Disneyland. Anyway, I will probably be in Disneysea for the whole day, till they closed!!! *Think must bring bottles of Red Bull with me*

You are mad lah, 3 different hotels, it's such a chore to unpack and pack up! Anyway, I know you're a very capable woman, so maybe won't be a problem for you. Have a great time again!
