I posted the lyrics two years ago, today let's have a listen to one of the most heart-tugging songs ever written. Released in 1969, which makes it 40 years old this year, as young as I am :*

Ooops...no one wants to comment here as it is very age revealing to know this song? :P
Anyway Lilian....40 is still very young la especially so when nothing of that is shown on your face :)
Btw, this happens to be one of my fave from Bee Gees too. So sweet!
qx
LOL QX! So you are around this age too?
So choose, Bee Gees or Abba?
That's a tough one for me.
LOL...I like "around", it is a nice word though I wish I am closer to 40 *blushed*
Wah..this is a tough choice indeed.. I can just drown myself in both! LOL..
hehe...let's just tell (lie to) ourselves 40s is the new 30s.
Lilian, believe it or not, this is the 1st time I'm hear this song! That doesn't mean it's not my era, I just never heard this before. I dun even know who the Bee Gees are...:-p. But I must say that this song is really nice.
According to my hb....., he said during an interview, the Bee gees were asked, "Why the sudden 'do..do...do' in the lyrics towards the end of the song?", the replied was, 'they ran out of lydics...'. I find it very funny, like dat this song can also become a hit.
Chris
Interesting BeeGees trivia your hb shared there!
You never heard of BeeGees? How can? You know Abba? Donny & Marie? Simon & Garfunkel?
Abba, I know! Donny & Marie, knew who they were because of their shows. Simon & Garfunkel, only knew of them in 2002, when my hb passed me one of their CDs.
I very china-bukit one...never listen to ang-mo song, only listen to chinese programs from redifusion. Very sauku...LOL. And my hb is the direct opposit of me, he jiak kangtung one.
Chris
China-bukit LOL! Are you Malaysian too, I forget? In my hometown, there's actually a hill called Bukit Cina :)
I was gonna tease you earlier if you were listening to Liu Wen Zhen and Wu Qi Xian while we were listening to BeeGees.
LOL!! Spot on! Liu Wen Zhen and Wu Qi Xian! I had all the cassettes of Liu Wen Zhen...LOL.
Chris
Wahhh! I'm so choon! LOL! Actually, those two are the only Chinese singers' names I know :)
